There
have been many great people who through their hard work and persistence have
achieved great feats in their respective fields for themselves as well as for
the society at large. All the fields of inquiries have their own purpose. One
such field is of spirituality through Yog where the purpose is to find the
meaning of the life and of our very existence.
Yog
Shraddha Mata through her persistence and the grace of her Guru Shri Somnath
Giri (Kapil Adwait) has achieved the supreme stage in Dhyana (Meditation) where
one becomes one with oneself. Mataji is now sharing her experiences with others
who wish to follow this path of divine inquiry.
Yog
Mata was born in a small village near Gangtok the capital of Sikkim. She was
brought up in family with deep spiritual roots. From a very young age she got
influenced with the teachings of Saint Kabir. She wanted to know more and her
thirst brought her to the great living master Mahayogi Somnath Giri (Kapil
Adwait).
Mata
recalls that she asked her mentor that she wants to study more about self and
then she got her hands on a book by Babaji named 'Himalaya Keh Raha Hai' after
reading it she wanted to meet babaji and asked her mentor about it. He informed
her that Babaji is scheduled to visit Sikkim very soon and then she can meet
her. When the day came and she visited Babaji, Mahayogi Baba at the very first
sight recognized her as a great and pure soul with lot of potential and asked
her to practice certain techniques (Kriyas).
She
stayed in Nanitaal Ashram of her Guru for many years from April 1997. After constant practice
through the grace of her master she experienced supreme stage of Dhyana
(Meditation) and has since been working for the welfare of the society through
her Sankalp. She took Sanyasa in the year 2004.

They were the first female Mahamandaleshwar in Juna Akhara.
She

like Das Mahavidya Yagna, Ashtalaxmi Yagna and various others. Through Sankalp
and the grace of her Guru, she along with Chetna Mataji have officiated various
Yagna throughout the India.
Mataji
even after advancing much more than the imagination of a common person in the
field of Spirituality and Meditation still considers herself a learner. She is
much concerned about the society and various issues prevailing in the society.
She through her Sankalp and Sadhana is dedicated to contribute to the world
peace in whatever manner it can be. She meets lot of people who are searching
something in the field of spirituality and guides them to the best of her
ability. Her face is extremely peaceful and her one gaze with a smile is
capable of establishing a connection with people who meet her. Mataji is really
a beacon of hope in this era.
