Yog Shraddha Mata is one of the few yet powerful beacons of hope in this era when the people living in luxuries often found themselves in the darkness of stress, hopelessness, inner conflict and above all in a constant existential crisis.
There have been many great people who through their hard work and persistence have achieved great feats in their respective fields for themselves as well as for the society at large. All the fields of inquiries have their own purpose. One such field is of spirituality through Yog where the purpose is to find the meaning of the life and of our very existence.
Yog Shraddha Mata through her persistence and the grace of her Guru Shri Somnath Giri (Kapil Adwait) has achieved the supreme stage in Dhyana (Meditation) where one becomes one with oneself. Mataji is now sharing her experiences with others who wish to follow this path of divine inquiry.
Yog Mata was born in a small village near Gangtok the capital of Sikkim. Her family named her Chandra and thus she became Chandra Pandey. She shared a very loving relation with her brother who cared for her alot. Being a very bright student on academics front she was also a very good football player. She was brought up in family with deep spiritual roots. From a very young age she got influenced with the teachings of Saint Kabir. She wanted to know more and her thirst brought her to the great living master Mahayogi Somnath Giri (Kapil Adwait).

Mata recalls that she asked her mentor that she wants to study more about self and then she got her hands on a book by Babaji named 'Himalaya Keh Raha Hai' after reading it she wanted to meet babaji and asked her mentor about it. He informed her that Babaji is scheduled to visit Sikkim very soon and then she can meet her. When the day came and she visited Babaji, Mahayogi Baba at the very first sight recognized her as a great and pure soul with lot of potential and asked her to practice certain techniques (Kriyas).

She stayed in Nanitaal Ashram of her Guru for many years from April 1997. After constant practice through the grace of her master she experienced supreme stage of Dhyana (Meditation) and has since been working for the welfare of the society through her Sankalp. She took Sanyasa in the year 2004.
She along with her Spiritual companion Yog Chetna Giri Mataji was given the padvi of Mahamandaleshwar in Juna Akhara in year 2007 which is the largest Akhara of Dashnami Sanyasis. They were the first female Mahamandaleshwar in Juna Akhara.

She has been involved in many religious activities. The major being various Yagna like Das Mahavidya Yagna, Ashtalaxmi Yagna and various others. Through Sankalp and the grace of her Guru, she along with Chetna Mataji have officiated various Yagna throughout the India.

Mataji even after advancing much more than the imagination of a common person in the field of Spirituality and Meditation still considers herself a learner. She is much concerned about the society and various issues prevailing in the society. She through her Sankalp and Sadhana is dedicated to contribute to the world peace in whatever manner it can be. She meets lot of people who are searching something in the field of spirituality and guides them to the best of her ability. Her face is extremely peaceful and her one gaze with a smile is capable of establishing a connection with people who meet her. Mataji is really a beacon of hope in this era.
